Bob Thull is Founder and President of Milestone Equipment Corporation. He has over 29 years experience in transportation equipment leasing. Since 1981, Mr. Thull has held various senior management positions in surface transportation equipment leasing and was President and CEO of Greenbrier Capital Corporation, a publicly-held company that specializes in railcar manufacturing, leasing and asset management, intermodal and trailer leasing, and logistics. Greenbrier Capital is a highly efficient provider of operating leases of surface transportation equipment with annual lease revenues of $35 million. Specializing in intermodal trailer and container equipment, the company owned and managed over 16,000 units with an original cost of $200 million. Greenbrier Capital achieved rapid profit, return on equity, and market share growth and was the third largest domestic intermodal equipment lessor in the U.S. Mr. Thull has also held various market development and planning positions with Class 1 Railroads and was Group Manager for a department that contributed $800 million in sales annually. Bob is from Michigan and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Michigan State University in 1973, majoring in Finance and Marketing.
Amy Genobles is Executive Vice President of KBS Intermodal. She has over 13 years experience in surface transportation equipment leasing and operations. Amy has worked extensively in operations and held senior management positions at Greenbrier Capital Corporation from 1989 until 1998. During this time, Amy oversaw fleet operations for over 16,000 pieces of intermodal and highway equipment. Her duties included P&L Responsibilites for maintenance, inspection, and repair operations associated with assets valued over $200 million in original cost. Amy was responsible for all lease acceptance and lease termination negotiations with railroads, trucking companies, and leasing companies in North America. She also coordinated all new and used equipment purchase inspections, asset sales activities, and managed repair and refurbishment programs on the existing fleet.
Jeff Alpert is Executive Vice President of Milestone Trailer Leasing LLC. He has over 15 years experience in business development and operations in the transportation equipment leasing industry. Mr. Alpert has held various senior management positions in surface transportation equipment leasing and was Vice President of Surface Operations for PLM International Inc., a publicly held transportation equipment leasing and asset management company. Specializing in arranging operating leases for over the road and intermodal trailers, PLM Trailer Leasing owns and manages over $100 million in trailer assets. Mr. Alpert oversaw operations for the largest refrigerated trailer rental company in the U.S. with over 5,000 assets, 22 branch locations and 60 employees. Jeff is from the New York area and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Vermont in 1984 and his Masters of Business Administration from Thunderbird in 1987, majoring in Marketing and Finance.
